XSplit VCam is software that you can use with your online video platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and so on. It allows you to change your background using the program’s default ones, or adding your own images from your computer, as well as to add and create your own logos, name tags (although the options it offers are very basic), and adjust the position and zoom of all the elements you added.
One of its disadvantages is that the camera takes a while to start, and the program does not allow you to adjust video elements such as light and contrast. However, it has useful features such as Auto Framing, which allows the zoom to follow your movements, so you can stay at the center of the screen during the entire meeting. Also, when using it, it didn’t seem to me that the Remove Chair option made any difference. Although it has online links to a guide to connect the program with your video platforms, they could be easier to access, so this information can be more accessible.
In sum, although the shareware version of the program is pretty basic, VCam is a program with an interface that is colorful and easy to understand. It is a good option to use with your online video meetings and conferences.
